Creating objects that well interpret the needs of the contemporary world has always been the mission of Bonaldo. We crafted this brand experience by offering an immersive and configurable showcase of Bonaldo products to the user.
The development of a web configurator to represent and visualize multiple combinations of the catalogue products was a focal request. What challenged us: find an information architecture for the material library suitable for every single product, able to fit CMS and get editors to insert data only once from any product page to the WebGL 3D configurator as well.
We opted for a universal rendered app to decrease load time and to improve SEO performances too. On top of this, we built a neat store locator using Google Maps API with all the flagship features as geolocation, search and filters.

Choosing a headless frontend written in Nuxt and powered by WordPress as headless CMS provided a number of plus: including improved site speed and performance, leveraging a PWA, SEO performance and a faster iteration and deployment.
With a specific focus on the mobile experience, we made use of external media management services to cater for imagery and video content across a range of different devices and connections.
